Yanxiang Richard Li
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Richard Li is Senior Vice President and CIO for
OFS. He is responsible for global IT strategic planning; project
management and vendor/contract management; as well as directing
and managing the implementation and support of global
infrastructure and business applications for the company.
Richard joined the company, then AT&T fiber optics division, in
1995 and was responsible for Fiber Manufacturing Information
Technology transfer to joint venture Shanghai Fiber Optics Co.,
Shanghai, China, and assisting in the factory startup.
In his two decades of IT experience, Mr. Li has held multiple
positions ranging from software developer, systems engineer,
senior systems engineer, information systems consultant, IT
manager prior to leading OFS CIO organization.
Mr. Li holds a Master of Science in Computer Science as well as a
Master of Business Administration (MBA).
He is married with 2 children and is also active in the community
serving on the Board of Directors for the Chinese Business
Association of Atlanta.
