Toshiya Hirose
Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Toshiya Hirose is CSO for OFS.
Prior to joining OFS in his current role, Mr. Hirose served as a
Manager, Overseas Business Development Team, for The Furukawa
Electric Company (FEC), parent company of OFS. In this position,
Mr. Hirose was responsible for the management of FEC
Telecommunications Company's overseas subsidiaries in the United
States and China, including OFS. In addition to business
development responsibilities within FEC, Mr. Hirose was one of the
core members of the FEC team assigned to oversee the acquisition
of Lucent's OFS group in 2001.
Mr. Hirose is a graduate of the University of Tokyo in Japan.
